Arizona Senate Unanimously Passes Emily's Law!

Following the brutal murder in Arizona of Indigenous teen Emily Pike, her family called for the state to pass HB2281 and create a statewide turquoise alert system for Indigenous people. On May 7, 2025 — after nearly 2,400 people used this page to email key senators, telling them to pass the law and name it in Emily's honor — the Senate did just that with a unanimous vote! We thank every one of you who helped inspire passage of this landmark law. It will prevent untold further harm to our relatives.
